10th April 2009: - The Band's Junior Snare Drummers Alicea, Ross and Cameron will be competing in the Kingdom Thistle Solo Piping and Drumming Competition on 11th April 2009 at Lochgelly High School  They have been practicing very hard and we at the band wish them the best of luck on the day.  (Please click here for further information.)

9th April 2009: -  The Band have been invited to attend a "Scottish Weekend" in Belgium on the 11th, 12th and 13th of September 2009 (Pipe Band Championships Belgium).  Paul is in the process of obtaining further information regarding travel, accommodation and potential sponsorship of the Band at this event.  (Please click here for further information.)

March 2009: - The Band welcomes 7 new Pipers to the Current Piping Core.

Ceilidh - April 2009

The Band's next Ceilidh is schedules for Friday 24th April 2009 in Methil - Tickets are £5 each so come along and help raise funds for the band.   There will be a licensed bar and buffet food for attendees.


Ceilidh - January 2009

What a great start to the Year with the band raising £1400 at our January Ceilidh held in Victoria Hall, Coaltown of Balgonie.   Many many thanks to GIA business properties for donating £1000 to the band.
